bobby jurney dabiguBuilding off the positive reception of our last interview piece we have another one for our loyal readers today. With the advent of daily fantasy sports over the past few years several players have set themselves apart from the rest and Bobby Jurney aka Dabigu is one of them. Lets listen in as he gives his candid opinions on the world of daily fantasy.

1. Name, age, location, how long have you been playing daily fantasy for
Bobby Jurney, hailing from parts unknown, been doing daily fantasy since Oct 2010

2. What is your favorite daily fantasy sport/daily fantasy website and why.
I play on a couple but like Fanduel the best, ability to play more games per day

3. What do you think is the best thing happening in the daily fantasy industry at the moment.
3.1 Contrarily, what is the biggest cause for concern

Seems like most sites are willing to adapt to what the players want, adding more games variations as well as different times to play each day. Biggest concern is the timeliness of having new players available, sometimes it takes up to a week for someone to be added.

4. Where do you see this entire industry 3, 5 or 10 years from now.
It is definitely in its growth stage now but I think it will peak in the next 3 to 5 years, but tough to tell in 10, there are so many computer guys out there, could be too many sites and they all take from each other, so only the strong will survive in 10 years

5. Whats the one thing every player should do when researching for the day
Biggest thing in football and baseball is know the weather, nothing more important in these 2 sports. For basketball it is the injuries, played many an opponent and they take a zero at a position because they didn?t know the guy was hurt.

6. What is your bankroll management like?
Really depends on the matchups each day, if I do not feel comfortable with a team I might only play a couple hundred but if I really like a team or a bunch of players then I might play 500-700 a day.

7. What tip would you give to a new comer to the daily fantasy scene.
Biggest issue new comers have is they do not know the scoring, play a few free games until you are comfortable before playing for real money.

8. If their was daily fantasy college basketball and/or football would you play?
Probably wouldn?t play any college sports, way too many teams to keep track of.

9. Do you see this industry partaking in a ?boom? just as poker did in the early 2000s? Why or why not?
I think in the next couple of years you will see a peak, but not sure there is a venue for $1k or higher games per day to be able to make some real money on these sites.

10. Anything else you?d like to add?
Just some of the comments you here these players say on here, like I always win my Yahoo leagues so I know I will be good at this and then a week later they are gone, this is a grind and no matter how good you are you can definitely get your ass handed to you by anyone.

Dabigu speaks the truth up and down all day everyday and we appreciate him taking the time out to give us this very candid and up front interview. What do you think about some of the points he made? Agree or Disagree? Feel free to comment below and let him know!
